That’s fabulous news! Always worrying when a young person disappears.

I now know the worry I caused my mother when I hitchhiked to the coast for a weekend with a friend. It would have been fine, if she’d not found out that I wasn’t where I said I was going to be. Of course as a young person, I was just going to have fun and to escape from a terrible situation at home, but had no real idea of the risks involved.

I’m sure many missing young people are blissfully unaware of the dangers of doing this, whilst some just feel that they have no choice. They need safe places to go when they can’t be at home, as well as safe places to have fun, else they’ll be in all sorts of danger.
