Palmerston house fire ‘suspicious’

AN early morning fire at a home in Palmerston, in which a vehicle on the driveway and the garage were alight, is being treated as suspicious by police. 

Police responded to reports of the fire on Arden Place at around 1.30am on August 22.

Following an examination of the scene, the fire was deemed suspicious, and police are now investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity on Arden Place around the time of the fire or who may have any information should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
