Woman allegedly carjacked in Canberra Centre

A WOMAN had her Corolla carjacked allegedly at knifepoint in the Canberra Centre rooftop car park on Monday night.  

At about 5.50pm the woman was getting into her white Toyota Corolla hatchback when a man allegedly opened the driver’s door and threatened her with a knife. The woman complied and the man got took off at speed before allegedly stopping to collect two women before leaving the car park.

Operation Toric officers have arrested three people in relation to this matter, however witnesses to the incident are asked to come forward, especially anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the white Toyota being driven erratically soon after 5.50pm on Monday night.
