NSW Liberal Party members have selected Dave Sharma to take Marise Payne's Senate seat, pipping favourite Andrew Constance and overlooking former ACT senator Zed Seselja.
Former Wallaby and independent David Pocock has defeated Liberal Zed Seselja in taking the ACT’s second seat in the Senate.
“Nothing will stop the ACT Greens and Labor in government from doing what they believe they are entitled to do. They carry on as if they were untouchable,” writes “Canberra Matters” columnist PAUL COSTIGAN. .
"It is simply not possible to turn the Canberra Liberals around with leadership from the current Zed Seselja-dominated faction and management committee," writes political columnist MICHAEL MOORE.
